2. Turning the power on or off

Turning the power on

Slide the [POWER] switch to the [ON] position

(in the direction of the thick arrow in the figure).

Note:

· If you leave the recorder turned on for a specified period

of time without using it, the recorder will automatically

turn off (the default setting is “15min”).

· When you turn the power on for the first time, set the

calendar (see page 28).

· If a large-capacity (such as 16GB) microSD card is

inserted into the recorder, it will take some time for the

recorder to start up.

Turning the power off

Slide the [POWER] switch to the [ON] position (in the

direction of the thick arrow in the figure) and hold it for

at least two (2) seconds.

Preventing accidental operation

(Hold function)

If you set the [POWER] switch to [HOLD], the unit will

display “HOLD ON” and the control buttons will be dis-

abled.

If you set the [POWER] switch to its original position,

the unit will display “HOLD OFF” and the Hold function

will be canceled.
