AMP N SERIES
GENERATED PULSES
Test signals with audio frequencies such as ripple voltage, continu-
ous, or transient disturbances are usually coupled to the lines with
audio transformers. The CN N consists of two audio transfor-
mers and one . load resistor that are individually congurable for
dierent test requirements such as ISO -, SAE J-, Ford
EMC-CS-., or German Lloyd GL VI--.
The conguration of the transformers in the CN N can be set up
on the primary or secondary side of a serial or parallel switch, so that
any standard test can be quickly implemented with little eort.
Everything is clearly arranged.

Transient
The AMP N series is used to generate high frequency sinusoidal
disturbance signals to simulate audio frequencies. Typical tests in the
automobile industry are “ripple noise”, “ground shi noise”, or sinusoidal
magnetic elds. Transient, customer-specic signals, such as Ford EMC-
CS-. , CI are generated.
The AMP N series uses the frequency selective measuring device
MU-AMP N (optional) to record measurement signals with voltage or
current input. It is also used for verication and control for magnetic elds
and closed loop tests.
